Google has unlocked Enterprise features for all users until 30 September. What does that mean? That you can connect up to 250 participants to a single meeting at once, record the meeting to your Drive and live stream the meeting to up to 100,000 viewers.
Unfortunately, a live stream can only be broadcast within your domain. This means you can address all employees live without having to add them one by one as guests of a meeting scheduled in Calendar.
The service can be configured globally for all users in the domain (number 1 in the inserted picture), or only for a particular group of users. https://support.google.com/a/answer/7304109?hl=en
How do you set up call recording in the Admin console?
Open your console at admin.google.com and click Apps, G Suite, Hangouts Meet. This window appears. What is set where?
Service settings. You can define different settings for all users in the domain, or for individual members within a group (call recording can be turned on for the sales department only – it will be of no use to the company's warehouse staff, and needlessly recorded videos would needlessly take up storage capacity on the company's Drive)
Turning on the option to join a meeting by dialling in by phone (this can be used in areas where the data connection is too weak to join over data, or when a connected participant's voice keeps cutting out while they are speaking. They join via the telephone network and their voice is fine)
Settings for streaming a meeting to your domain. This can be used when you want to address all employees at once without having to add them one by one to the calendar event. When setting up a live stream, you can also prepare a clone of the stream in which users will not be able to ask for the floor, and so on – more HERE. Streaming has to be set up in the calendar event. Once you choose the “Stream” broadcast type, a link is generated to the web page where the stream will take place.
This is where you turn on the ability to make video calls
Client logs mean that you will have information about how much data was sent in audio and video, who shared their screen, and more.
Meeting recording. Recordings are saved to the meeting organiser's Drive. The organiser can later share the recording with others from their Drive.
Statistics on meetings held in the domain.
You will find a view of the statistics on Meet conversations held in the domain at the bottom of the Meet service settings screen in the Admin console.
Here you will find information about who organised a meeting, how long it lasted, what the network load was, packet loss and other details.
The meeting detail gives you information about who joined and when, how long they were in the meeting, who shared their screen and what the connection quality was.
Meeting data can be filtered by the organiser's exact e-mail address, duration, date held and other parameters.
What is this good for?
For example, for checking the performance of a salesperson working from home. They report x virtual meetings held with clients and the time spent. You are able to spot-check these facts.
