Your Google Workspace account has been suspended. How do you restore and reactivate the suspended services?

In recent days, more and more clients have been turning to us with a blocked Google Workspace account. In most cases you will see this message.

Your organization's Google Workspace account has been suspended. Contact your organization's Google Workspace administrator.

How could this happen? The end of free Gmail on your own domain.

For years you used Gmail for free without realising that nothing is free and that one day it would end.

Why don't I have a free Google e-mail and account any more?

From 2006 Google offered Google Workspace (back then under the name Google Apps, or G Suite) for free. In 2022 it suspended this free service. Those who had signed up by 2012 therefore continued to have it for free. And after ten years Google decided to end and switch off this free service as well.

And why didn't they let me know?

They certainly did, but the notifications go to the e-mail address of whoever set the service up. And since that may have been ten or more years ago, that e-mail address may no longer be accessible. Perhaps it was a friend, or an IT technician who no longer works for you. Or you don't know the user name and password for the administrator account.

How do I go about restoring my Google account?

You need to regain access to the administrator account. If you can't get to admin.google.com, use this link to a guide in English on how to recover an admin account.

You also need access to the management of the domain the account was set up for.

And who can I turn to for a solution?

You had the service for free, and Google does not offer support in Czech. If you can't manage it yourself, get in touch with us. Once you fill in this form, we will contact you.
